Cloth Roll Towel Accessories

Thread marker

The purpose of the Thread Marker is to eliminate the use of Ty-Ups to bundle toweling that is ready for washing and drying. Using the Thread Marker, a large loop is stitched at three to four locations along the edges of the cloth roll towel bundle. These loops of heavy nylon thread allow the layers of the cloth roll towel bundle to separate slightly during washing and drying, but they hold the entire bundle together securely throughout the processing operations. This allows the towel to be washed and dried effectively and efficiently.

Rubber ty-ups

Rubber Ty-Ups are used to hold a cloth roll towel together during washing and drying. It is similar to a large rubber band with a rod at one end to secure the rubber band in place after it has been wrapped around the towel.

The cloth roll towel is “flaked” (layered “fan fold” style) in a bundle about 40” long. Two Rubber Ty-Ups are used to hold this bundle together so that it does not come apart during the washing/drying process. The rubber band section is stretched around each end of the bundle. The open end of the band is slipped over the “T” end to secure it. Using one band at each end helps to prevent it from coming apart during processing. These are sold in 100-count bags.

Brass ty-ups

Brass Ty-Ups are used to hold a cloth roll towel together during washing and drying. It is made from a heavy cotton twine with a brass locking device at one end. The end of the twine section is wrapped around a cloth roll towel and easily slipped into the locking device at the opposite end.

The cloth roll towel is “flaked” (layered "fan fold" style) in a bundle about 40” long. The Brass Ty-Up is used to hold this bundle together so that it does not come apart during the washing/drying process. Two Brass Ty-Ups are used for each flaked bundle. These are sold in 100-count bags.

durastand

The Darman Durastand is a freestanding support for the Darman cloth roll towel cabinet. It is built for easy handling, storage, and assembly.

The Durastand is used when demonstrating the use of a cloth roll towel cabinet without mounting a cabinet to a wall.

doorhangers

The Darman Doorhanger is a support for our cloth roll towel cabinet that hangs on a door or a restroom stall.

It is used when someone wants to test the cabinet without having to mount a cabinet to a wall.

Laundry salespeople and route drivers often carry a cabinet, some towels, and a doorhanger for demonstrations of the cloth roll towel system to potential customers. Just hang the unit on almost any door for a demonstration.
